I. A Brief Introduction

Central China Normal University is a key comprehensive University under Ministry of Education, is a national "211 Project" key construction universities, Tourism Management is key major in Central China Normal University. The late 1980s it began to recruit college student .Tourism Department was formally established in 1996 to recruit undergraduate student, under College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, and now it has tourism management master's degree. For good contributions in the tourism research and the application of outstanding achievements, in June 2010 China Tourism Academy of the National Tourism Administration launched only one branch in university in China - China Tourism Academy Wuhan Branch .

Faculty of Tourism Management Department is strong, has long been engaged in tourism education and research experts, scholars and academic backbone. In recent years, they have published more than 20 monographs and tourism-related professional textbooks; commitment to the national level, provincial and ministerial research projects, as well as all levels of government and enterprises commissioned a number of tourism planning projects with good reputation in the tourism academia and industry.

Tourism Management has a clear objective for students. It has long insisted combining theory and practice of educational policy to match the needs of society as its mission, training with travel management expertise, a solid theoretical foundation, practical ability, to tourism administrative departments at all levels, tourism enterprises and institutions engaged in tourism management work of the senior professionals, and senior and intermediate teachers. Teaching facilities of Tourism Management Department, with a library, computer rooms, language labs, multimedia classrooms, internship international three-star standard rooms, bars and a variety of modern teaching experiment teaching audio-visual equipment, and with a number of partnership with high-star Hotels , tourist attractions, tourism administrative departments and other designated students practice base .

III. Basic Requirements

The students mainly study modern economics, management and basic theory of tourism management, operation and management of travel service and is trained with the teaching of basic training , to acquire capabilities of analyzing and solving the basic problem of tourism management.

The graduates should acquire the following knowledge and abilities:

1) master the basic theory, basic knowledge, with a strong integrated use of the basic theories and knowledge to solve practical problems;
